Once you land in Zurich one of My-Mountains representatives will welcome you and assist you with a transfer via train to the charming village of Andermatt, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. We organize only one Meet and Greet during this trip, so if you are traveling with friends or family, make sure everyone arrives at similar times. If you don’t arrive at the same time, we can help you with booking alternative connections from Zurich to Andermatt.

In Andermatt, you can settle into your room, unpack and refresh. Then you’ll have a detailed briefing on the trip’s itinerary with your local guide. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. They will be happy to take any suggestions and last-minute changes, if necessary.

After the briefing, if time allows, you will enjoy a short walking tour of Andermatt. If needed, we will stop by a trusted ski rental to rent any equipment you may be missing.

Overnight in Andermatt.

You will have two full days to enjoy skiing at the Andermatt Ski Area. On day 2, you will be accompanied by a local ski instructor. They will meet you at the hotel at 9 a.m. and help you navigate the resort. They will be happy to show you great slopes away from the crowds and give suggestions for lunch spots.

In the afternoon, you can continue skiing or choose another activity.

On the third day, you’ll have the chance to ski independently.

Overnight in Andermatt.

Today, you’ll enjoy one of the most magnificent train rides in the world: the legendary Glacier Express.

If you wish to do so, you can still ski in the morning. Planned departure from Andermatt is at 1:34 p.m., with arrival in Zermatt at 5:10 p.m. You can find further details about Glacier Express here: https://www.glacierexpress.ch/en/.

After arrival, you will check-in at the hotel in Zermatt.

You will have two full days to enjoy the slopes of the Matterhorn region and the old-world ambiance of this charming Alpine town.

Zermatt is widely considered one of the best ski resorts in Switzerland– if not the world – thanks to its endless on and off-piste terrain, phenomenal snow record, charming atmosphere of the village, and outstanding scenery.

You can combine skiing and other activities, like winter hikes, snowshoeing, and sledging. We will be happy to provide suggestions for places to visit, as well as the best restaurants, shops and other activities.

In the morning, you can still enjoy the slopes of Zermatt.

Planned departure from Zermatt is at 3:37 p.m., arriving in Grindelwald at 6:41 p.m.

After arrival, you’ll check-in at your hotel in Grindelwald.

Overnight in Grindelwald.

Enjoy two full days in Grindelwald and the Jungfrau Region. The scenic trio of Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger will certainly leave you speechless. ​There are about 100 km / 62 miles of slopes at your disposal. This ski resort is suitable for all ski levels. Ski experts can enjoy an extra thrill on the Lauberhorn slopes.

You’re welcome to combine skiing with other winter activities. You can call your guide to ask for suggestions on what to do.

If you want to add two extra nights to your semi-guided ski safari in the Swiss Alps, we highly suggest paying a visit to Engelberg. It’s a popular ski resort and a great ski area to discover.
