Let’s go!
Skiing in the Dolomites
The Italian Dolomites are one of the most popular skiing destinations in the world. The Dolomites are a mountain range in the Italian Alps, located in the north-eastern part of the country, mainly in the region of South Tyrol.
Majestic UNESCO World Heritage-listed peaks, a fantastic range of pistes for all ski levels, and a distinctly Italian flair keep people coming back year after year.
The Dolomites offer 12 breathtaking ski resorts, all accessible with a single ski pass. Dolomiti Superski gives you access to 450 lifts and 1,200 km (745 miles) of slopes.
All this and more: après-ski venues, bars, gourmet restaurants, and hidden skiing gems will all be part of your unique experience with the My-Mountains Dolomites ski holiday package.
Stay at the heart of the Dolomites
With our Dolomites Ski Package you will stay in one of the resorts connected to the Sellaronda circuit, in the heart of the Dolomites ski area. This gives you direct access to at least four fantastic ski areas that you can explore during your stay.
While skiing the Sellaronda itself is not that difficult, navigating the 12 resorts to get the most out of your Dolomites holiday can be a challenge.
To make the most of your Dolomiti Superpass, hire a ski guide. Their knowledge and experience will help you find the best slopes and, more importantly, plan your skiing days.
Time management can be an issue when skiing in the Dolomites. A guide will facilitate your transfers, direct you to the best slopes and plan your skiing days to fit in with lift opening times.
The Sellaronda Challenge
The Sellaronda is the centrepiece of our Dolomites ski holiday package. It is one of the most famous ski circuits in the world and can be done either clockwise or counterclockwise.
The Sellaronda offers one of the most beautiful mountain panoramas in the Dolomites. In its 40 km (25 miles) stretch, it covers the four famous passes: Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella, Passo Gardena and Passo Campolong through the ski resorts of Val Gardena, Arabba, Alta Badia and Val di Fassa.
You can start the loop from any of the four resorts, but you need to start early and plan your day well. The circuit consists mainly of red slopes and takes an average of 6 to 7 hours to complete.
While following the Sellaronda circuit is fairly straightforward, finding your way around the adjacent resorts can be tricky. They are less accessible, and it takes some experience to know how to get to the best lifts and slopes in the area.
Finding a place to have lunch can be equally problematic. Not for lack of options, quite the opposite: the slopes are full of bars, chalets and restaurants. From budget to gourmet, it can take some time to find a suitable option. A local ski guide will be able to sort all this out. With them at your side, you can get the most out of any resort and dine in places that are right up your street.
“Every season is a good season to travel.”

Hidden Gems Around the Sellaronda You Don't Want To Miss
The four valleys that make up the Sellaronda have a lot to offer. Our Dolomites ski holiday package includes exploring the best spots the Dolomites have to offer. In La Villa and San Cassiano, you can ski on one of the most technically demanding slopes in the World Cup: Gran Risa.
Arabba offers exciting runs on the Marmolada glacier. La Bellunesse is considered one of the most spectacular slopes in the Dolomites, stretching for 12 km (7,5 miles) from the Serauta top station (at an altitude of 2,950 m/10 000 ft) down to Malga Ciapela, the valley station.
Another fantastic slope can be found at Col Reiser: La Longia. Known as the “fairytale piste”, La Longia is every skier’s dream. Over 10 km (6 miles) of perfect terrain and breathtaking views make it worth skiing again and again.
In Pozza di Fassa you can also try the challenging black “Volcano” slope. If you want to venture outside the Sellaronda circuit, you can take the ski bus to Cortina d’Ampezzo, the famous centre of downhill skiing.
If you wish, your guide can organise a transfer to the Lagazuoi and Cinque Torri or, less known to visitors, to San Pellegrino and Falcade, true winter paradises for skiers and non-skiers alike.
Dolomites for non-skiers
The Dolomites ski area is full of attractions for skiers and non-skiers alike. On top of world-class slopes, the resorts offer fantastic winter walking trails, cultural attractions and, of course, gourmet experiences (this is Italy, after all).
Your guide can take you on a snowy adventure that doesn’t involve skiing – but provides equal measure of joy. You can choose from a wide variety of activities: tobogganing, snowshoeing or sledging through one of the countless breathtaking valleys. You can also enjoy relaxed walks in through magical woodlands and snow-covered meadows.
You will certainly be thrilled by a visit to one of the Dolomite lakes – their crystal clear water freezes into a perfect mirror reflecting the surrounding beauty.
Proper nourishment is necessary on your ski holiday: from simple pizzas and pasta in a local trattoria to gourmet delights in a Michelin-starred restaurant, the Dolomites have everything you could possibly want to try – and more.
