This snowshoe hike is feasible for beginners with a sportive fitness. This hike is not technical challenging and there are no exposed sections. The location of this snowshoes tour is wonderful, however we reserve the right to change location depending on weather, snow conditions and wind situation. We’ll roughly walk 2 to 3 hours with a stop in a lodge for lunch and a warm drink.

Overview

Your guide will pick you up at your Hotel in Lucerne at 8:30.

After a shot ride by train you will be in Engelberg or another valley depending on weather conditions and/or avalanche risks.

From here you will take the cable car up where you start an easy 2 to 3 hours snowshoe hike.

Trekking boots or similar and mountain clothing are required.

We will be back in Lucerne around 5pm.

If your hotel is outside the city center of Lucerne, your guide will meet you at the Train Station in Lucerne.
