Itinerary

Your guide will meet and welcome you at the Zurich Airport.

Together you’ll travel to Lucerne, where you’ll have a chance to settle into your hotel room.

Later, your guide will take you on a one-hour walking tour of the city. Lucerne is the most visited city in Switzerland, and you’ll know soon why. It is a charming old town with centuries-old buildings, with views of the lake and surrounding mountains that will leave you speechless.

In the evening, you’ll enjoy a delicious Swiss dinner.

Enjoy a full day with your local Guide at Mt. Rigi, the queen of the mountains.

Ride up the mountain with the first Cogwheel Train built in Europe.

Today, you will leave Lucerne and enjoy a beautiful hike around Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge before spending the night in Grindelwald, an alpine village in the Jungfrau region.

With your guide, you will embark on a comfortable train ride to an alpine town, Meiringen. There, you will take a bus to the Glacier Gorge of Rosenlaui. The Glacier Gorge Rosenlaui is part of the Unesco World Heritage Jungfrau-Aletsch and provides a stunning example of the power of nature.

Your hike will take approximately one hour. The path through the gorge is well-constructed with secured gradual ascent. You will pass waterfalls, natural whirlpools, and fantastically shaped rocks. Passing through the deep, narrow gorge with the rumbling of water in your ears, you will feel the awesome and breathtaking power of the glacial water that created it.

A forest trail will lead you back to the entry point at the end of the gorge. After the hike, you will take a bus going from Rosenlaui through the magnificent mountain pass called Grosse Scheidegg, to Grindelwald.

Today’s main attraction is a fantastic ride to the highest train station in Europe, Jungfraujoch. Take a small cogwheel train and climb up to 3454 meters/11 332 ft above sea level. From there, enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the mountain peaks. Take pictures and stroll around the station, discovering new vistas at every corner.

Your guide will accompany you and share the history of the region and its people, who’ve been living under the watchful eye of the famous trio, Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, for generations.

After the trip, you can enjoy a stroll around Grindelwald or relax.

Today, you will discover one of Switzerland’s most famous wine regions: Lavaus Vine Terraces, perched on the hills above Lake Geneva (or Lac Leman, in French).

You’ll leave Grindelwald in the morning and, after around 3 hours of comfortable train ride, you will arrive in the small town of St. Saphorin in the heart of Lavaux. From there, you’ll walk to the Lavaux Vineyard Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Evidence of these terraces being used to grow vines dates back to the 11th century. Breathe in the fresh (slightly wine-scented) air, and enjoy the magnificent views of Lake Geneva, sipping on wine from a local cellar. The walk around Lavaux will take approximately 4 hours (10 km/6,8 miles).

After lunch at Lavaux, you’ll board the train headed to Zermatt. You’ll the Rhone valley and change in Brig. Arrival in Zermatt in planned in the evening.

Today you will spend a whole day in Zermatt and ride up the iconic Gornergrat with a cogwheel train. Zermatt is surrounded by 29 peaks towering over you at 4000 m/13 000 ft. Despite its popularity, Zermatt retained its old-fashioned, alpine charm. It’s a perfect to relax and unwind while being close to nature in its raw form.

You will spend a day in the mountains, riding to the famous Gornergrat where you can admire the majestic Matterhorn up close. You can customize your trip to fit your preferences directly with the guide.

Today, you’ll leave beautiful Zermatt and embark on the famous Glacier Express, one of the world’s most famous and magnificent train rides. You will pass its entire route from Zermatt to St. Moritz.

The route will take you through the three cantons of Valais, Uri, and Graubünden and offer breathtaking and varied panoramic views. Eight hours of sheer pleasure for your eyes and your palate, too.

After arrival, you will have time to settle in your room and maybe take a little stroll around St. Moritz.

Today, you will take a short trip with the famous Berning Express and discover the surroundings of St. Moritz. The Bernina Express is a train connecting Chur in Switzerland to Tirano in Italy by crossing the Engadin range in the Swiss Alps. A 50-minute train ride from St. Moritz to Alp Grüm will let you admire amazing views of Albula Pass, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In the afternoon, we’ll do a panoramic hike above St. Moritz to Muotas Muragll, with astonishing views over the valley and the mountains. Try to spot some marmots or ibex.

In the evening, enjoy your delicious Swiss dinner.

Today, you will leave St. Moritz. After breakfast, you and your guide will board the train to Chur, the capital city of Graubünden, the biggest Canton of Switzerland.

Stroll around the old town and grab a coffee or enjoy a Swiss lunch in one of the cozy restaurants.

You’ll arrive in Zurich in the afternoon and check-in at your hotel. Here, you can enjoy walking around the most cosmopolitan city in Switzerland, shop at Bahnhofstrasse, and admire the views of the Lake of Zurich.
