This is a private trip, so you are free to decide how you want to divide your time between hiking, other attractions, wellness, and relax. We are happy to assist you in arranging the logistics.

What you'll do

This itinerary includes visits to Zermatt, the base of the iconic Matterhorn peak, the Jungfrau region dominated by the North Face of the Eiger, the charming town of Lucerne, the upscale resort town of St. Moritz, and the vibrant city of Zurich.

Upon your arrival at the Zurich Airport, our local guide will meet you at the airport in Zurich and escort you to your hotel in Lucerne.

After check-in you’ll have a chance to settle into your room, then you’ll meet your guide for a briefing on the tour.

After the briefing, enjoy a one-hour walking tour of the city of Lucerne.

Today, your guide will pick you up at the hotel at 8:30 a.m.

After a short train and local bus ride, you will reach Melchsee-Frutt, a lovely Swiss Alpine village. From here, you will hike in the direction of Grindelwald.

Your guide will be happy to tell you more about the history of the region, and the Swiss culture. The can also suggest places to eat in Grindelwald and its surroundings.

You will reach Grindelwald in the afternoon.

Today, you can hike in the beautiful region of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau by yourself. We will provide you with a detailed map and suggestions on how to enjoy this wonderful area.

Travel comfortably via train to Zermatt while we take care of your luggage.

Enjoy the views from the train, and if you wish, you can stop in Interlaken for a stroll or in Gruyere to taste the famous cheese.

Day 5 :

Enjoy your stay in Zermatt. We will provide you with a detailed list of available hiking trails you can explore independently.

One of our best recommendations is to ride the Gornergrat Cog Wheel train for amazing views over the Matterhorn.

Today you’ll enjoy one of the most magnificent train Rides in the world: the legendary Glacier Express.

We suggest departure from Zermatt at 8:52 a.m., arriving in St. Moritz at 16:38. Further details here.

Today, you will enjoy a second guided hike of your trip. Your guide will pick you up at the hotel at 9:00 a.m. and quickly brief you on the plan of the day.

St. Moritz is a wonderful place for nature lovers. The picturesque valleys, crystal-clear lakes, and snow-capped mountains will take your breath away.

Today you can decide whether you’d like to do another hike in the morning or enjoy other activities in St. Moritz, or travel back to Zurich.

With your Swiss Pass, you can freely choose your train connections.

Today marks the day of your departure.
